About this Emerging Topic CLE

In the ever changing media environment there are now more ways than ever to take part in pretrial publicity. But should you?  In this well rounded and entertaining presentation, Emmy Award winning TV news reporter Pat Dooris will explain the inner workings of the media and with an all star line up of lawyer experts, dive into the ethical rules guiding pretrial publicity in Oregon. You'll learn 'what' you can and cannot say and 'when' you can and cannot say it. Using a TV news style presentation, Pat will pull apart the rules and pose questions on video to lawyers Peter Jarvis, Danya Underhill, Josh Marquis, Stephen Houze, Rod Underhill and Mike Arnold.

You'll walk away with practical tips, a new understanding of the media, and thoughtful arguments on why you should or should not use pretrial publicity.
