Tom CappsTom Capps of Tom Capps Consulting is an acting and public speaking coach who helps attorneys become skilled in techniques to strengthen their courtroom appearances. At a young age he studied with the Actors Studio in New York before moving to LA to continue his training and to begin work with in television and movies. He realized that he had a gift for teaching and soon became the director of the Tracy Roberts Studio in Beverly hills. Tom later moved to Portland and in 2000 he opened Tom Capps Consulting. He has worked with many high profile attorneys in Oregon such as Steve English, Bill Barton and Mark Bocci.

Jim CravenJim Craven is an attorney, mediator and frequent speaker in the conflict resolution field. He is of counsel at Evans Craven & Lackie in Washington State. Jim has extensive experience in the mediation of complex comercial and construction disputes, having served as a mediator since 1990. Her was a trial lawyer for 25 years with a practice emphasizing in construction, commercial and environmental litigation, as well as professional errors and omissions defense.


Ines MonteInes Monte -Prior to founding her own law practice, Ines Monte prosecuted individual and class action discrimination cases as a Senior Trial Attorney with the U.S.Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Chicago district Office. She later served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel to a 5,000+ employee corporation, concentrating on employment and business matters. Ines received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where she represented low-income clients through the Law School's Mandel Legal Aid Clinic.


Harry PlotkinHarry Plotkin is a nationally renowned jury consultant and an expert in the field of juror psychology, juror decision-making, and jury misconduct. He specializes in conducting jury research, assisting attorneys in selecting juries, and developing persuasive trial themes and opening statements.

Harry's expertise is in the complex understanding of juror decision-making and psychology to write insightful voir dire questions, uncovering and identifying juror biases in trial during jury selection, developing persuasive opening statements and trial themes, orchestrating and analyzing mock jury trials and focus groups nationwide, and preparing witnesses to testify.

Geoff WellsGeoffrey Wells is a partner at Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP in Santa Monica, CA. Geoff received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1985. He began his legal career as a defense attorney before joining a plaintiff's firm. Geoffrey specializes in complex litigation.

Geoff has been named Super Lawyer and one of the Top 100 Lawyers in LA County by Law & Politics' Southern California Super Lawyers.
